FOR BOOK COVERS

As you can tell from my gallery, I work exclusively in the horror genre. I love connecting with new folks, but I am no longer able to take every commission. You'll increase the odds of us being a good fit for each other by:

  1. Writing an awesome book.
  2. Emailing me a little bit about your book and your preferred deadline at [email protected].

If it looks like I might have room in my schedule, I'll ask you to send me this info in order for me to be able to make a final decision:

  • Title, author's name & genre
  • Preferred Deadline
  • Drop-Dead Deadline (for example, if you need it for a particular event with a hard deadline)
  • Size (6x9 is the most common for my clients)
  • Formats (paperback wrap, hardcover, audiobook, etc.)
  • Paper type (cream or white)
  • Printer (for example, KDP (Amazon), Ingram)
  • Amazon links to 3 book covers in your genre that you love
  • Complete this sentence: Fans of _____'s book _____ will love my book!
  • Book description (i.e. back cover blurb)
  • Any ideas you have for the cover
  • The manuscript/sample chapters. (Complete manuscript preferred.)

I know this may seem like a lot up front, but the more info I have, the easier it is to figure out if I'm the right artist for you. Marketing analysis is a huge part of my prep for a project, and this info helps me start gathering the research I need to make the best cover for your book.

My turn-around time is anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months, depending on the complexity of the project and the other projects currently scheduled. I URGE YOU TO PLAN AHEAD.

Once we decide we want to work together, I request a 50% deposit, with the balance due upon completion. Payment plans are available if needed.

  • Book Cover Paperback Wrap (Ebook Cover Included) - $750

ADD-ONS

  • Hardback Cover - $75
  • Audiobook Cover - $75
  • Interior Formatting and Design - Novels starting at $200 up to 100k words
  • Additional Formats/Printer Specs - $75
  • Change Requests After Project Completion (Price Changes or Text Changes, etc.) - $50/hr with a 1 hr minimum
  • Additional Revisions Over 2 - $50/hr with a 1 hr minimum
  • Rush Service for Deadlines Under 5 Weeks - Quoted by Project, Starting At $100
  • Merchandising Rights - Quoted by Project

 

FOR OTHER COMMISSIONS

Other projects are quoted on a case-by-case basis, so if you need a movie poster, a magazine cover, an editorial illustration, a shirt design, a personal commission, or whatnot, just message me with the details and we'll chat.
